The most bonkers delightful garden (ever)

Today myself and hubster took a train trip to Bexhill, it could not have been simpler, out of the station with a 3 minute walk to the beach πŸ’™πŸ’™

I love to look at all the houses on our trips but this time we found what must be the most delightfully crazy garden, it takes the 'seaside theme' to another level, we loved it πŸ’™

Peace and love πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

More fabric flowers and a quirky cat

I have now completed 6 fabric flowers for an up and coming swap, so now to choose what to send to who :)

Hubster bought me a lovely quirky cat print from the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne :)

Seaside fun

Took the bus to Pevensey Bay today, lovely pebble beach, rustic houses and some fabulous quirky ideas for a beach garden :)

Then onto the local pub for lunch and a drink - happy days πŸ’™πŸ’™

Pin cushion and an art gallery

Yesterday I felt in the mood for sewing, so I got everything ready i.e. fabric, ribbon, buttons etc etc, then I realised the foot pedal and plug for my sewing machine were nowhere to be seen :(  I spent half an hour turning the flat upside down with no luck.  When my husband got in he found it within 4 minutes - in my ironing basket!!  I have no idea how it got there :)  Anyhoo I did a little pin cushion that evening using scraps from an old pair of trousers.  The striped fabric was the lining of a jean pocket :)

Today we went down to the Pier, walked a while and then popped into a favourite hotel for some lunch and a drink.  We then wandered round to our local art gallery 'The Turner', which was full of lovely surprises!

Have a happy Easter  πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

Strange name, beautiful place.

This week we went to a little village called Rottingdean (5 minutes from Brighton), but miles apart in other ways.  Scattered with a few quaint shops, nice pubs and the stunning Kiplings Gardens (of Rudyard fame), the perfect place to sit and unwind :)

It also has some fabulous properties that make your jaw drop πŸ’™
